Currently looking for an exciting new job is Martijn Claessen, an industrial designer with a serious addiction to concept generation, obsessions for details and hopes for improving the way we live, work, play, ect. The tools he uses are an total-design take on product development, a strong sense of materiality and of course a series of creative processes in his elastic mind.

By a job, Martijn is talking about a place to working with a diverse group of people, who believe passionately that shared ideas, interests and work will lead to better products and a more interesting world.

Have a look at the portfolio. If you have any questions or remarks, you now have the opportunity to let him know.

I am an analytical designer, who looks at any product as a part of a larger system of people, other products and companies. In this environment everything pulls and pushes and shapes the product. I use a variety of techniques to map and understand this space. Some of these apply to form giving and others to our conceptual models. This leads to a design, a shape that people can recognize and understand.

Design touches on many subjects like technology, economy, art and anything from our daily lives to the highpoints of our culture. To me, the designer is a specialist at crossing over into different fields and creating new combinations and solutions. This wide perspective leads to creative designs and has always been my goal.
